Origin

E905 refers to a group of synthetic waxes, including microcrystalline wax and paraffin wax. These waxes are derived from petroleum during the oil refining process. Paraffin wax is a saturated hydrocarbon mixture, typically consisting of straight-chain alkanes.

Usage
